Explore five ecosystems of the Gaspésie

The Bioparc... the Gaspésie's wild animal park!

To visit the Bioparc is to discover the natural diversity of the Gaspé Peninsula through five unique ecosystems: the Bay, the Barachois (tidal pools and bars), the River, the Forest and the Tundra.

As you stroll our trail of more than one-kilometre, you will come into close contact with over forty indigenous animal species living in semi-liberty in their own ecosystems. In addition, you will see over 70 plant species.

Follow the animal caretakers during mealtimes, join the discovery activities with naturalists, see and touch pets at the little farm and don't miss out by putting your fears aside, in observing the fascinating world of insects!

The Bioparc de la Gaspésie, is also offering cottage rentals. Our nine cottages are nestled in calm surroundings, on the sea shore, only a short walk from Bonaventure's village.

NEW : A Night With the Nocturnal Wildlife

Experience an extraordinary night in a prospector’s tent in the Bioparc, with only the animals, two naturalists and perhaps a small group as company. A wide variety of fascinating activities await during this very special nocturnal adventure: you might listen to the wolves and coyotes calling, hear the great horned owls hooting, head out to observe the bats, or identify the songs of various amphibians, to name just a few.
